Sustitución parcial del concentrado por harina de forraje deshidratado de Tithonia diversifolia como alternativa en la ceba de conejos Pardo Cubano

Resumen

En un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado unifactorial con cuatro tratamientos y nueve repeticiones se estudió el efecto de cuatro dietas: I- 0, II-10 III- 20 y IV-30 % de sustitución del concentradopor harina de forraje deshidratado de Tithonia (Tithoniadiversifolia(Hemsl.) en conejos de la raza Pardo cubano. Con un intervalo de siete días se midió: Peso vivo, g; Incremento de peso, g; Ganancia media diaria, g; Conversión alimentaria, u. La comparación de las variables se realizó mediante un Anova simple y las diferencias entre medias por Tukey para P < 0.05. El mayor peso alcanzado a los 21 días fue para el tratamiento IV con 1056.89 g (P<0.05) con respecto a los restantes tratamientos. Se obtuvieron ecuaciones lineales para el crecimiento de los cuatro tratamientos con buenos ajustes, siendo la del tratamiento IV la mas evidente. Aunque las ganancias medias diarias se consideran bajas para este período de ceba, la mayor fue la del tratamiento IV (P<0.05) con 21.37 g, y la mejor conversión, aunque alta con 5.8. Se concluye que la sustitución de 30 % de harina de Tithonia diversifolia en el periodo de ceba de conejos fue positiva y puede ser una opción para el período poco lluvioso.

ABSTRACT

In a experimental totally randomized unifactorial design with four treatments and nine repetitions the effect of four diets was studied: I - 0, II-10 III - 20 and IV-30 % of substitution of concentrate for dehydrated forage flour of Tithonia (Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) in rabbits of the Cuban Brown race. With an interval of seven days it was measured: Weight live, g; increase of weight, g; Daily half gain, g; Alimentary conversion. The comparison of the variables was carried out by Anova and the differences between means among Tukey test for P <0.05. The biggest weight reached to the 21 days was for the treatment IV with 1056.89 g (P <0.05) with regard to the remaining treatments. Lineal equations were obtained for the growth of the four treatments with good adjustments, being of the treatment IV the more evident. Although the daily half gains are considered lows for this period of it feeds, the biggest was for the treatment IV (P <0.05) with 21.37 g, and the best conversion, although high with 5.8. Concludes that the substitution of 30% of flour of Tithonia diversifolia in the period of it feeds of rabbits it was positive and it can be an option for the dry season.
