Abstract

ABSTRACT

Sugarcane vinasse, among all agro-industry wastes, has been target of special attention because its unlimited uses, vinasse has been fertilizer substitute and physical-chemical improver of soil properties as pH, nutrients availability, cations and moisture retention in soil as well as microorganism activity. In order to know the pure vinasse application effect in growing plants indicators and chemical parameters in a red Ferralitic soil in the initial development stage of sugarcane plant (Saccharum spp.) a semi-controlled conditions experiment was carried out. A random design with four treatments consisting in NPK recommended, two vinasse doses (60, 120 m3 ha-1) and control. The chemical characterization of vinasse and chemical analysis of soil properties were obtained, and development was evaluated in different stages until 60 days of post-germinated plants. The results of experiment showed that chemical of soil properties and growing plans indicators at initial stages if don’t were improved don´t were negative modified either.
