Caracterización de las unidades de producción de los módulos agroecológicos de Apure en función del agroturismo

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar desde la perspectiva agroturística las unidades de producción agrícola existentes en los Módulos Agroecológicos de Mantecal, Estado Apure, Venezuela con vistas a contribuir al desarrollo local de la zona. Se estudiaron 30 fincas que representaron el 10% de la población. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron: la observación directa, informantes clave, investigación documental, diagnóstico participativo, encuestas y entrevistas. Se le realizó un análisis de clasificación automática de grupos jerárquicos para ver como se agrupaban según los valores asignados de acuerdo a su nivel de participación, para lo cual se empleó el paquete estadístico SPSS versión 15 para Windows. Las unidades de producción en estudio se caracterizan por presentar superficies que oscilan entre 500 y 1000 ha; donde se desarrollan actividades específicas como la ganadería bovina de carne y la producción de maíz y patilla, con la utilización de tecnología tradicional. Estas pueden ofertar hasta 18 servicios básicos relacionados con la alimentación, el alojamiento y la comunicación y otros derivados de la infraestructura existente. Los recursos turísticos, el capital humano, los establecimientos agropecuarios, junto al patrimonio cultural, histórico y natural, los paisajes rurales, las prácticas agrícolas tradicionales y artesanales, las costumbres, los habitantes, las casa rústica, la variada y rica gastronomía, son parte de los atractivos turísticos que hacen viable el desarrollo del agroturismo en las unidades de producción estudiadas.

 Abstract

The objective of the present work was to characterize from the agro turism perspective the units of agricultural production in the Modules Agro ecological of Mantecal, Apure State, Venezuela to contributing to the local development of the area. 30 properties were studied that represented the population's 10%. The used techniques were: the direct observation, key informants, documental investigation, participatory diagnostic, surveys and interviews. An analysis of automatic classification was carried out of hierarchical groups to see like they grouped according to the values assigned according to their participation level, for that the statistical package SPSS version was used 15 for Windows. The production units in study are characterized for presenting surfaces that oscillate between 500 and 1000 ha; where specific activities are developed as the bovine cattle raising of meat and the production of corn and sideburn. They can offer until 18 basic services related with the feeding, the lodging and the communication and others derived of the existent infrastructure. The tourist resources, the human capital, the agricultural establishments, the culture, the historical and natural patrimony, the rural landscapes, the traditional and handmade agricultural practices, the customs, the inhabitants, the rustic house and the varied and rich gastronomy are part of the tourist attractiveness that make viable the development of the agro turism in the studied production units.
