Authors

Abstract

Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) constitutes a crucial tool for our society in the 21st century, and its relevance extends to everyone, offering opportunities aimed at improving our lives. The objective of the study was to interpret the perception of first-year higher education students regarding the use of AI applied to agricultural sciences. The ability of AI to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the agricultural sector is recognized; however, there are concerns about the ethical dilemmas and labor implications associated with its implementation. It is essential for educational institutions to adjust their curricula to include technical skills and a deep understanding of the social and ethical aspects of technology. This comprehensive approach is crucial for preparing students to lead in a technologically advanced and data-driven agricultural environment, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and institutional support to effectively address future challenges.
