Pronósticos estadísticos para el estudio de mermas en la comercialización de la UEB Frutas Selectas
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Frutas Selectas Cienfuegos Base Business Unit (UEB) has experienced, in the last 18 months, an increase in marketing throughout the country, interacting with different economic actors that have emerged as part of the economic ordering carried out in Cuba and the opening of new businesses that has allowed the country to generate more income from this concept.
With the increase in production plans, a greater movement of agricultural products has been conceived, which generates a percentage of losses, which although they are within the permissible index, must be studied and controlled to achieve effective management of these and efficiency in accordance with the economic indicators of the entity, allowing greater effectiveness in the marketing process, reflected in the profits of the production process in the corresponding quarter.
The objective of this research work is to systematically forecast the behavior of losses in the marketing process that is developed in the entity by applying statistical models based on quantitative predictive methods, to achieve rapid and accurate decision making in terms of reducing to minimize losses due to the quality of agricultural products.
