Diagnóstico de los predios agropecuarios que conforman la granja Pagua de la UTMACH en la provincia de El Oro, Ecuador

Resumen

Con el objetivo de realizar el diagnóstico de la situación actual que presenta la “Granja Experimental Pagua”, propiedad de tipo rustica, perteneciente a la UTMACH, dedicada a la producción de banano y ganadería, con suelos que se caracterizan por ser de color amarillo, de topografía plana, con buena disponibilidad de recurso hídrico, con acceso directo al predio desde la vía Panamericana, rumbo a Guayaquil, dispone de varias especies vegetativas, el pasto Tanner (Brachiaria arrecta Hack. ex T. Durand & Schinz), Brachiaria (Brachiaria brizantha Hochst. Ex A. Rich) y Chileno (Panicum máximum Jacq.), y como construcción existente una empacadora. Para el estudio, se consideró el tipo de suelo que poseen los predios, determinando sus propiedades físicas y químicas mediante matrices, se determinó la población del pasto mediante un aforo de potreros en los dos sectores del mismo, con un muestreo doble, de igual manera, con la ayuda de un instrumento de madera se realizó el muestreo con el fin de identificar las malezas presentes, se clasificó y evaluó la tierra, mediante la Guía de clasificación y descripción de predios rurales, Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la Granja, dispone de suelos ideales para los cultivos que se producen en ella, además su actividad productiva en los sectores de los potreros A y B generan 19 400 kg/ha y 25 900 kg/ha de forraje respectivamente. Las malezas presentes en los potreros muestran un porcentaje de incidencia poco significativo (8%), todos los sectores que integran el predio buena producción, excelentes condiciones agronómicas, topográficas, climatológicas y de explotación, valoradas en $754.236,00. La ejecución del diagnóstico permitió determinar la situación actual del predio Granja Pagua.

ABSTRACT

With the aim of making the diagnosis of the current situation presented by the "Pagua Experimental Farm", rustic type property, belonging to the UTMACH, dedicated to the production of bananas and livestock, with soils that are characterized by being yellow, flat topography, with good availability of water resources, with direct access to the property from the Pan-American Highway, heading to Guayaquil, it has several vegetative species, the Tanner grass (Brachiaria arrecta Hack. ex T. Durand & Schinz), Brachiaria (Brachiaria brizantha Hochst. Ex A. Rich) and Chilean (Panicum max Jacq.), and as an existing construction a baler. For the study, the type of soil that the properties have was considered, determining their physical and chemical properties through matrices, the population of the pasture was determined by means of a capacity of paddocks in the two sectors of the same, with a double sampling, in the same way, with the help of a wooden instrument the sampling was carried out in order to identify the weeds present, the land was classified and evaluated, through the Guide of classification and description of rural properties. The results obtained show that the Farm has ideal soils for the crops that are produced in it. In addition, its productive activity in the sectors of paddocks A and B generate 19 400 kg / ha and 25 900 kg / ha of fodder respectively. The weeds present in the paddocks show a percentage of insignificant incidence (8%), all the sectors that make up the property good production, excellent agronomic, topographical, climatological and exploitation conditions, valued at $ 754,236.00. The execution of the diagnosis made it possible to determine the current situation of the Granja Pagua property.
