NORMAS DE PUBLICACIÓN

Los autores interesados en publicar en la Revista Científica Agroecosistemas deberán enviar sus contribuciones en español o inglés a la siguiente dirección electrónica: agroecosistemas@ucf.edu.cu

Los trabajos enviados para su publicación han de ser inéditos; no deben haber sido presentados simultáneamente en otra revista y no pueden contener plagio. Las contribuciones podrán escribirse en Microsoft Office Word u Open Office Writer, en formato carta, empleando letra Verdana a 10 puntos e interlineado sencillo. Los márgenes superior e inferior serán a 2,5 cm y se dejará 2 cm para el derecho e izquierdo.

Los tipos de contribuciones que aceptará la revista serán: artículos de investigación científico-tecnológica, artículos de reflexión, artículos de revisión y reseñas bibliográficas.

Estructura de los manuscritos

Las contribuciones enviadas a la redacción de la revista deben poseer la siguiente estructura:

• Extensión entre 12 y 20 páginas.

•Título en español e inglés (15 palabras como máximo).

•Correo electrónico; identificador ORCID, con el siguiente formato y sin punto final: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2092-4924; e institución. Solamente cinco autores por artículo, deberán tener su perfil en https://orcid.org/ actualizado con su empleo y principales publicaciones.

•Resumen en español, Abstract en inglés y palabras clave/keywords (de tres a diez en español e inglés), separadas por coma. El resumen no excederá las 200 palabras.

•Introducción; Materiales y métodos; Resultados y discusión, para artículos de investigación (el resto de las contribuciones tendrá en vez de estos dos apartados un Desarrollo); Conclusiones, nunca enumeradas; y Referencias bibliográficas. En caso de tener Anexos se incluirán al final del documento.

Otros aspectos formales

• Las páginas se numeran en la esquina inferior derecha.

• Las tablas se numeran según orden de aparición y su título se coloca en la parte superior. Deben ser citadas en el texto de la manera: tabla 1 ó (Tabla 1).

• Las figuras no deben exceder los 100 Kb, ni deben tener un ancho superior a los 10 cm. deben entregarse en una carpeta aparte en formato de imagen: .jpg o .png. En el texto deberán ser enumeradas, según su orden y su nombre se colocará en la parte inferior. Serán citadas a de la siguiente forma: Figura 1 ó (Figura 1).

• Las siglas acompañarán al texto que la definen la primera vez, entre paréntesis y no se conjugarán en plural.

• En la redacción cuando se hace alución a un nombre científico : el mismo debe ir en cursiva todo, la primera palabra , que pertene al género se escribe con letra inicial mayúscula y la segunda que se refiere a la especie se mantiene con letra minúscula.La misma debe ir entre paréntisis si tiene delante su nombre común. Ejemplo Piña(Bromelia pinguin).

• Las notas se localizan al pie de página y deben estar numeradas con números arábigos. Deben tener una extensión de hasta 60 palabras.

• Los anexos respaldarán ideas planteadas en el trabajo y serán mencionados en el texto de la manera: anexo 1 ó (anexo 1).

• El autor principal debe enviar un documento, en su nombre y en el de todos los firmantes, donde se declare que no existe ningún conflicto de interés relacionado con el artículo y en el que se especifiquen las contribuciones hechas por cada autor.

Citas y referencias bibliográficas

Las citas y referencias bibliográficas se deben ajustar al estilo de la Asociación Americana de Psicología (APA), 7^ma edición, 2019. La veracidad de las citas y referencias bibliográficas es responsabilidad del autor o autores del artículo. Se deben utilizar hasta 20 fuentes, preferentemente artículos científicos que sean de los últimos cinco años. Es importante que se prioricen aquellas fuentes que provengan de revistas científicas indexadas en Scopus y SciELO.

En el texto las citas se señalarán de la forma: Apellido (año), si la oración incluye el (los) apellido (s) del (de los) autor (es). Si no se incluyen estos datos se utilizará la variante: (Apellido, año). Solo se incluirá el número de página en las citas textuales. Se mencionarán al final del artículo solo las citadas en el texto, ordenadas alfabéticamente con sangría francesa.

De manera seguida se explica para cada tipo de fuente la forma en que debe ser referenciada.

Libro

PUBLICATION MANUAL FOR AUTHORS

Authors who wish to make publications in the Revista Científica Agroecosistemas can submit their articles to the following E-mail address: agroecosistemas@ucf.edu.cu

Our journal will only accept articles that are not under review and have not been published by other serial publications. The preferred language for publication is Spanish, but articles will also be accepted in English and Portuguese from native-speaking authors of those languages. Articles translated into these two foreign languages will also be accepted on the condition that they have been translated by a professional translator.

The following types of submissions will be accepted: (1) Scientific Articles which are the direct result or social research; (2) specialized essays featuring reflexive and critical approaches; and (3) reviews and bibliographical revisions of research works.

The submissions must be formatted to Microsoft Office Word (“.doc” or “.docx”), use Verdana font in size 10 and single-line spacing. Use Letter-size paper 21,59 cm x 27,94 cm. Top and bottom margins should be at least 2,5cm; side margins should be at least 2cm.

Structure of the manuscripts

All submissions must have the following structure:

• Papers submitted should have between 12 and 20 pages. +than12.

• The title of the papers should be in Spanish and in English, not exceeding 10 words.

• All the authors’ full names must be included in the papers.

• Papers must include E-mail addres, ORCID identifier with the following format (not followed by period): https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2092-4924 and author’s affiliation. All authors must have their profiles updated with current occupation and main publications at https://orcid.org/

• Papers must include an abstract in English and Spanish with keywords in English and Spanish separated by commas—a minimum of three and a maximum of ten keywords. The abstract should not have more than 200 words.

• Scientific research papers must contain these essential elements: Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; and Conclusions. Other types of manuscripts should only have two main sections: Discussion; and Conclusions (unnumbered), plus the References. Appendices will be included at the end of the document.

Other aspects of form

• All pages will be numbered on the right bottom corner.

• All tables will be numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text, and their corresponding captions will be placed directly at the top. They may be labeled in the text like this: table 1 or (Table 1).

• Figures should never exceed 100 Kb each, nor can they be more than 10 cm wide. All figures should be submitted as separate image-type files: .jpg o .png. All figures should be numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text with the title directly at the top. They may be labeled in the text like this: Figure 1 or (Figure 1).

• Acronyms will be written out in full the first time, followed by the acronym between parenthesis right after it; they must not be used in the plural.

• Footnotes will be numbered with Arabic numerals. They will have 60 words or less.

• The Appendices will back up ideas discussed in the paper and will be labeled in the text like this: appendix 1 or (appendix 1).

• The main author must submit a document listing all the authors and their matching signatures, in which the underwriters confirm the non-existence of competing interests in connection with the paper. This document should also outline in detail the contributions made by each individual author.

Reference and Citation Formatting

All references and citations must be formatted to the Publication Manual of the American Psychology Association (APA), 7^th edition, 2019. All authors shall be held liable for the accuracy of the citations and the references provided. A minimum of 20 bibliographical sources must be used; it is encouraged to use scientific papers published within the last five years. Priority usage should be given to bibliographical sources form journals indexed in Scopus and SciELO.

In-text citations will be formatted like this: Last name of the author (year of publication) if the names and last names of the author(s) is mentioned in the text. If author(s) is not mentioned in the text, the following variation must be used: (Author’s last name, year of publication). The page number will only be included when citing a quote. Only the citations contained in the text will be referenced as full citations at the end of the paper; they will be listed in alphabetical order with hanging indent.
