Abstract

With the aim of verifying the behavior of the Alternaría solani Sor forecast in tomato cultivation in three campaigns 2014-2015, 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 in the territory of the Caunao Territorial Plant Protection Station (ETPP Caunao), Cienfuegos, phenoclimatogram of the disease was analyzed, evaluating influence behavior on climatic variables according to A. solani forecast. Results: the first outbreaks of early blight occur within 30 days of transplanting the crop, the pathogen is present from the first sowings in September, the optimal sowing should be in November. Conclusions: In the evaluation of the behavior of the influence of climatic variables in the three campaigns, temperatures, precipitation, and humidity were optimal to initiate the disease, then they had a favorable behavior for the development of the pathogen in the crop.
