Percepción de los ganaderos sobre la implementación de un Programa de Prevención y Control de la brucelosis bovina en la parroquia Mantecal

Resumen

El objetivo de la investigación fue indagar por el nivel de conocimiento que tienen los ganaderos sobre el programa de prevención de la brucelosis bovina en la parroquia Mantecal del municipio Muñoz, Estado Apure. Se desarrolló una revisión documental en 2013 en los informes estadísticos de la Oficina Municipal del Instituto Nacional de Sanidad Agropecuaria Integral (INSAI) y en el año 2014 se realizó una investigación de corte transversal en los 15 sectores de la Parroquia Mantecal, aplicándose encuestas a los ganaderos de las fincas que contemplaban las principales características de los productores, de las fincas y de la masa ganadera, y el conocimiento en relación con el programa de prevención y control para la brucelosis bovina. Se aplicaron análisis de comparación de proporciones muestreales con el paquete Statistix y de conglomerados jerárquicos con el paquete estadístico SPSS. La Parroquia Mantecal presenta un nivel medio de brucelosis de acuerdo al porcentaje de fincas con incidencia de la enfermedad y un nivel bajo en relación a la incidencia de animales positivos. Los ganaderos de la Parroquia Mantecal manifestaron bajo nivel de conocimiento en relación al Programa de Prevención, Control y Erradicación de la brucelosis bovina en un grupo de fincas que manifestaron similaridad en las respuestas.

Abstract

The aim of the resarch was to investigate for the level of knowledge that the cattlemen have on the program of prevention of the bovine brucellosis in the Parish Mantecal, the Muñoz Municipality, Apure State. An documental investigation was developed in 2013 from the statistical reports of the Municipal Office of the National Institute of Integral Agricultural Sanity (INSAI), and in the year 2014 an investigation was carried out of traverse court in the 15 sectors of the Mantecal, Parish applying surveys to the cattlemen that contemplated the main characteristics of the producers, the properties, and of the cattle mass, and the same time the knowledge in connection with the program of prevention and control for the bovine brucellosis. Statistical analysis of proportions samples comparison was made with Statistix package and hierarchical conglomerates with SPSS one. The Mantecal Parish presents a half level of brucellosis according to the percentage of properties with incidence of the disease and a low level in relation to the incidence of positive animals. The cattlemen at the Mantecal Parish manifested low level of knowledge in relation with the Program of Prevention, Control and Eradication of the bovine brucelosis in a group of properties that manifested similarity in answers.
